High-Powered Electric Cars are coming. Tesla, Porsche, Jaguar, Daimler, Audi, Volkswagen, NIO and others have started revealing their new mainstream electric cars.
By 2025, one-in-four new EU cars will be electric. This trend is being driven by emissions regulations, the demise of diesel cars and high-tech innovation.
Nevertheless, we at JOLT, believe the biggest challenge to the public adoption of e-mobility is the availability of power, particularly in cities.
Some drivers will charge on the highway, at home or at work, but in cities, there is currently, no good solution to fast-charge these new high-powered vehicles.
Power flexibility is needed. DC high-powered chargers could be the solution. They allow drivers to quickly charge or top-up their vehicles, but they are very difficult and expensive to install.
Jolt has developed both the technology and knowhow to streamline the deployment of DC high-powered chargers in cities and urban areas.
Our business model is to build, own and operate a global fleet of chargers, focused on deployments in 100 cities by 2025.
Each of our DC high-power chargers (HPC) is capable of charging 2 cars simultaneously at up to 170 kW. That’s around 100 km in 10 minutes.
We are bringing REAL FAST CHARGING DOWNTOWN.
